Blues is a type of music that comes from the deepest part of the human soul. It's played/sung by both whites and blacks, but has often been associated with black history and black slavery in America.

I've heard blues in dive joints, cloudy with smoke, sexy babes,
cool dudes and thundering music. I can still smell the booze and the sweat. Nothing like dancing to good blues beats on a hot and steamy night in a far away snort joint, where dancers cling to each other like mold on a shower curtain.
