good music in the world

What type of music do you like to listen to? If you just Google the name of a type of music (ie, rock, pop, hip-hop) you should find lists of artists that make that type of music.

There is a series of CD's called "Putomayo" that I just discovered. It has music of all kinds, Latin, Asian, Mediterranean, etc. I listened to one called "Arabic Groove" and it was pretty good.

It is Arabic music, combined with flamenco, electronica and remixes. The CD presents a collection of good Arabic singers/composers. The CD booklet has a little description of the artist's biodgraphy, a picture, and a small translation of the lyrics of the songs. It is the first time I listen to Arabic music, and I found the combination very pleasant to hear.

You may want to look for other types of music that they carry also - whatever fits you.

You said you like rock and pop music, I don't know which artists you already know, but I like the Bee Gees a lot.

I agree with you. We see more and more music being blended between different cultures, which allows for different sounds to be produced. Nowadays, multiculturalism is in.

A good example is Paul Simon (from Simon & Garfunkel). I think he had brought back many good elements from Africa, and had incorporated them into older songs, and they sound just great!!

I like country music too. Kenny Rogers is my favorite singer.
