I agree with Lil K - penguins are very fatty - that's why doctors and dietitians don't recommend eating them.
There's a colony of penguins in Sydney Harbour, but there's some sort of regulation about going near them - let alone setting them alight!
I don't need kindling, either - really!
I reckon I could go a good kindle.
Hi Margopuss, long time little see! How be?
Let's burn Gus.
gus' experiment went horribly wrong because he made the cardinal error of using a lighter.
The secret of success is to rub the two penguins together, gus!
Did anyone else hear the kerfuffle about renaming Fairy Penguins? It appears some nitwit thought gays would be upset and the penguins must now be called Little Penguins. Thankfully, common sense (and the gay community) prevailed, so Fairy Penguins they remain.

That makes them burn brightly... with different colors and frequent popping sounds... very romantic for a evening by the swamp....
No gus. I've never used a penguin as kindling.
penguins
i don't know if the penguins make good kindling , but apparently they make a tasty dish ; at least that's what the sailors of the "scotia" claimed . haven't found any at the local supermarket yet - will continue to check .
i guess it's probably like whale meat - which i've found to be quite good (many , many years ago when the whale hunt was still legal) .
