Hi Everyone!

Thank you all for such wonderful help during this time. I can't really post now, but I didn't want for anyone to worry about me. I'm taking care of all those ugly things one has to at this time, and I just don't have the heart in me now to post any more.

I'm lurking on the fringes here and watching the posts, and I've been so appreciative of the outflow of warmth from all of you.

From my heart, Thank you all so much!!

Byron

Take it slowly, Anon, and be easy on yourself. Don't hesitate to ask anyone around you for help...they're probably all trying to figure out what they can do.

Come back and talk when you feel like it. Until then, you'll be in our thoughts and prayers.

Anon--

I'm so glad you're OK, Anon. (May we call you Byron?) But I can only imagine the grief & stress you must be going through right now. My warmest, most supportive thoughts are with you. Things are going to be tough for quite some time .... Sad

Anon,

It was only today on the Rainforest thread that I learned that JayBea had completed her life. Know that I grieve with you and for you.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Instructions
When I have moved beyond you in the adventure of life,
gather in some pleasant place
and there remember me
with spoken words, old and new.
Let a tear fall if you will,
but let a smile come quickly
for I have loved the laughter of life.
Do not linger too long with your solemnities:
go eat and drink and talk,
and when you can -
follow a woodland trail
climb a high mountain
sleep beneath the stars
swim in a cold river
chew the thoughts of some book
which challenges your soul
use your hands some bright day
to make a thing of beauty
or to lift someone's heavy load
Though you mention not my name,
though no thought of me crosses your mind -
I shall be with you
for these have been the realities of life to me.
And when you face some crisis with anguish -
when you walk alone with courage
when you choose your paths of right
when you give yourself in love
I shall be very close to you.
I have followed the valleys,
I have climbed the heights of life.
….. The Rev. Arnold Crompton
Anon, I just saw this thread and offer my deepest condolences. The first few days are oftentimes dealt with in a numb progression of arrangement making and detail overseeing. The following days and weeks are, in some ways, more difficult than the first few. As someone said in this thread, time is your friend now. Let it soothe you and bring you peace. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
