Hey just Lauryn Hill and i dug it but Ashanti was supposed to preform to but her sister died in a car accident tonight so she didn't preform, terriblle.
Lauryn could've been better but glad i went the organisers were retarded though.
Well, T.L. I was inspired by your Lauryn Hill so I did a search and found that she did this.
Stromin my pain with his fingers
Singin my life with his words
Killing me softly with his song x2
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
Yea yea yea do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do
I heard he sang a good song,
I heard he had a style,
And so I came to see him and listen for a while
And there he was this young boy
Stranger to my eyes
Chorus:
Stromin my pain with his fingers (one time, one time)
Singin my life with his words (two times, two times)
Killing me softly with his song x2
Telling my whole life with his words
Killing me softly with his song
I felt all flushed with fever
Embarrased by the crowd,
I felt he found my letters and read each one out loud,
I pray that he would finish
But he just kept right on
Repeat chorus
Wooooooaaaa ohhhhhhhhhh laaaa la la la la la la ohhh la laaa woaaa laa
Aaaalaaaaaa
Repeat chorus until fade
Do you know for whom that song was written?
yeah heard that last night, i know it's a roberta flack orgianl no idea who it was written about???
Don McLean, honey. Ever hear his American Pie? Great song and it is an allusion to the history of Rock 'n Roll. He also did a beautiful song called Starry, Starry Night- a tribute to Vincent Van Gogh.
yeah know don mclean, cool interesting fact letty. Of course i know America pie and starry starry nigh
Well, dear. I saw your photo on C.J.'s thread and you are a lovely young woman. Thank you for pointing out Lauryn Hill as I always enjoy hearing about other singers of joy. <smile>
satt was kind enough to show me the way to The Child Inside. The singers were from South Africa.
Yes, she's pretty, Miss Letty, isn't she?
I am envious tagged - Lauryn Hill has such a great voice
and I love to hear her together with the fugees.
