I came across a reference to "Sheep Pipes" as a particular sort of bagpipes, but I can't find any details.
Can someone help me pin down exactly what makes a Sheep Pipe unique?
Sheep pipes seem to have been used in some military bands.
I suppose, it's just another name for a bagpipe since they are made from a (goat or) sheep skin.
I think it is not unlike gut strings ... Once upon a time, and all that
The illustration showed pictorial sheep heads on the bagpipe bags.
That would be the windbag.
