Do you prefer to buy software via download or shrink-wrapped package?
I prefer to have a CD "in hand" but usually, when I see a program on the net that I want, I usually buy it by download, because I don't want to wait for it.. Must have something to do with instant gratification. :wink:
I agree, especially if it's $$ - I always feel like I'll screw it up and having it come off something tangible makes it less scary - haha.
Most of the time if I buy software online it's because I need it right there and then.
If there were a shop selling the program I'm after open at 1am then I'd go there and buy it.
But there isn't so I buy online and then burn to a disk with the registration code.
