Well, I'll back off of that. The stuff on google is fairly off the mark. Not that I have been to Sicily, but that I've read a fairly trying/horrifying type on the whole tuna capture thing. There are some mysteries set in the area - eh, mysteries, crime procedurals.
Anyway, from what I remember, there is a seasonal catch thing done at just the right place to catch tuna, a very serious catch for the area.
I see my key word is is 'serious'.
