Cat Gives Birth To Mouse-Like Kitten?

(CBS4 News) TUNISIA A cat in Tunisia has given birth to something strange.

According to the owner of the cat, the litter included 5 regular kittens, and one that more resembles a mouse.

The owner says the nose, mouth and ears look like that of a mouse, but the rest of the body is that of a cat.

The mother cat doesn't seem to notice or mind. She's nursing and taking care of it, just like the kittens.

Ok, those kittens are between 7 and 14 days old. That cat did not have that mouse. No flippin way did that cat give birth to a mouse. Shocked

Why aren't there pictures of this at birth? I know a mother cat will take in almost any animal when nursing. But, I just don't know if I can buy she gave birth to a mouse. That is not a kitten. It's a mouse. OMG! Am I going to have to redefine my feelings about cats too?!!! Shocked

Thanx for the link NickFun!

it doesn't have a mouse's nose, ears, and the rest of a body as a kitten. the rest of a body looks very much like a mouse, too. hind legs, tail, the whole shebang. it's cute, but it's not the cat's product.

No self-respecting cat would ever claim that child as their own. Laughing

It looks like a young animal, so I do not think it is a mouse.

Perhaps a rat? A larger rodent of some kind?

Obviously this cat has low self esteem. A good therapist should convince the cat that she is nursing her lunch.
