There was something in our paper the other day about some small town in Oregon where a couple of the city council members fell for the scam and were going to travel to Nigeria and blah blah blah.

They called a travel agent to book the tickets and the travel agent pointed them towards Snopes.

I tried to find it in the newspaper archives but no luck.
