Yea, She's my life Montana! We've been together 17 years now. We were friends for 4 years before we even started dating.
Believe it or not, I have lost 65 pounds since that picture!!

That's fantastic, Anon! When I see couples like yourselves who are still happy together after many years, it makes me smile from ear to ear.
Who could ask for more? :-D
65 pounds is great. I've done it myself and I know how awesome I felt, so cheers to your success :-D
These are great! Love the littlek/ dag ones.
I took this for Boomer's "My House" thread, so have it at hand:
Cool, Soz! I love the old desk and chair :-D
I also love the ones with Littlek and Dag :-D
Yep, love this desk. (Pat, pat.) It's an old doctor's desk*, it's made so that someone can scootch right up to it on the other side (the back is finished, too.) I like the partition for hiding wires -- HATE wires.
Yeah, yeah, I hate wires too and that's a perfect set up.
I think I mentioned I was getting a new desk for my new puter, but there's a place not far from here that sells old furnature just like that at great prices, so after seeing your set up, I think I'm going to see if I can't find something similar there.
I love antique furnature and plan on picking up pieces for the house here and there, so this would be a nice start.
Thanks for the pic, Soz. You gave me a great idea :-D
Oh I forgot the asterisk footnote, sorry, I was gonna say that the inside of the main drawer was used as a blotter, so that's how I know who it belonged to. (A certain "John W. Doolittle, M.D.")
Hope you find something great, Montana!
Awesome!
Thanks Soz. You gave me one more thing to be excited about :-D
New puter, new high speed internet and new/old desk and chair. Does it get any better :-D
GOSH! I didn't know "girl-talk" could be so interesting. I presume that you'all forgot that males might be eavesdropping on this chat.
soz and I have the same desk and chair.
Except my desk is a little cooler because it has drawers on both sides and a swivel-top where the typewriter used to hang.
Anon, that's what I always thought, but something was said (can't find it now) that indicated the contrary. Nevertheless, you're welcome for the compliment.
I KNOW Gus is no lady, even without the avatar.
