The song left by Pete Jr. doesn't convince me....when I look at when he posted other songs (6 in total) on this profile, they all say "1 year ago", I'll look later when I get a chance.

Also, re: PM's. Again I agree with Walter. What he PM'd some people as a reason, even re the British Thread, may not have been the entire reason that was PM'd to others.

Pete had a way of making everyone feel special....dammit, I'm not going to say that...Pete HAS a way of making everyone feel special....but I do think he confided in some more than others. Isn't cjane close to him? I would think Francis also.

I always thought Penberthy was Ellpus...the writing style is exactly the same. If it was another person, they're a damned talented writer.

Thanks for posting that Jane. I am much relieved and can live with the fact that Ellpus/Pete didn't wish to post here any longer. I hope that he's well and in good spirits, wherever he is and whatever he's doing.

The mystery still somewhat lingers for me though, re: the link on his A2K profile.

We will have to be satisfied with the memory of his past posts and the fun we had.
