Well, prior to the 28 business, there was vanilla, there was chocolate, and I guess there was strawberry. 'bout it. Shortly thereafter, a mere year or two, lots of interesting flavors showed up in some stores, like coffee, and chocolate chip, and peppermint stick. Far be it from me to do a chronology. I was keen on chocolate and that was that. However, in my adult life, I've gone crazy for gelatos, gelati, in rome, a kind of heaven for such a secular person as me. Bury me at Giolitti, or scatter my ashes out front.

ossobucco, my favorite italian flavor is Nocciola. They have a way with hazelnuts.
