It's better that you not know, these links cost me 120 stiches and a night in a bathtub full of ice.

I've been here, too. (Literally and figuratively.)

Welcome to the town of Hell, Grand Cayman.

You have to stop by the post office here and mail something...preferably a postcard to your office back home that reads, "Wish you were here."

No. I'd love to go to Paris, but I think I'll skip that part of the tour.

Egg-walking man pulls car with ears

A Chinese man has managed to pull a car while walking on eggs without breaking a single egg.

Not only did he pull the car 20 metres, he actually did it with his ears!

The 38-year-old probably has the strangest talent ever seen, but he sure drew a big crowd while he was pulling the car in Dehui, Jinli.

The onlookers were astonished by the man's performance. Zhang says he started learning the stunt when he was only 8 years old.

Another amazing thing this Chinese can do is pick up a 25 kg bicycle with his mouth while, of course, standing on eggs.

We can't figure out what his talents are good for, but they sure are amazing.

Alleged Burglar Gets Stuck in Oven Vent

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - An alleged burglar was rescued Thursday after he got stuck overnight in the oven vent of the convenience store he was trying to rob, the fire department said.

Investigators said Lonnie Shields, 37, climbed into a small vent on the roof of the New City Mart at about 2 a.m. and wasn't found until store employees arrived at about 8 a.m.

Shields, who faces charges of burglary of a structure, was treated at a nearby hospital and booked into Orange County Jail on $1,000 bond.

"He was banged up and crunched up and uncomfortable from being in that pipe for about six hours," Orlando fire chief Greg Hoggatt said.

Karate Experts Hired to Control Parrots

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - Organizers of a vintage car rally have hired karate experts to protect vehicles from marauding native parrots, a media report said Friday.

Around 40 members of a local karate club have been enlisted to protect around 140 classic cars due to visit an alpine village near Mt. Cook on New Zealand's South Island on Sunday, the New Zealand Press Association reported.

The karate experts will protect the cars from Keas, sharp-beaked native parrots which have been known to damage vehicles in their search for shiny items, NZPA said.

Denis Callesen, manager of the nearby Hermitage Hotel, said bird lovers needn't be concerned that the karate experts would use martial arts moves on the parrots, which are a protected species. Their job would simply be to scare the birds away, he said.

Local wildlife ranger Ray Bellringer said the karate masters were unlikely to deter the Keas.

"They will fly around and laugh," he said.

The best method to prevent Keas from damaging vehicles was to squirt them with water pistols, he added.

Moose surfed on chunk of ice
A fully grown moose was spotted surfing down a rain-swollen river in Norway early this week, riding on a large chunk of ice.

A sharp rise in temperatures, along with heavy rain, has pried loose lots of ice along local lakes and rivers in north-central Norway the past few days. It's not clear whether the moose got caught on ice that suddenly became mobile, or whether he grabbed his chance for a wild ride down the Namsen River.

Whatever, Kjell Grannes happened to be watching the river and ice action from his kitchen window near Overhalla on Monday when the moose came surfing down the river.

Grannes told Trondheim newspaper Adresseavisen that the ice was clear, "so it almost looked like the moose was walking on water."

Grannes said he quickly drove to a bridge farther downstream, arriving in time to watch the large animal known as the "King of the Forest" fall into the water under the bridge.

"Fortunately, it managed to make it over to land, and looked like it was in good shape as it ran up the bank and towards a housing development," Grannes said.
