I am English and live in England. I watch Bo Selecta! every week (fridays, channel 4, 11:15) It is basically avid merrion doing lots of sketches in rubber masks pretending to be celebrities.It is soooo funny. Avid is obsessed with celebrities whenever he does an interview he brings them a gift (eg he brought Jonathan "wossy" Ross a model of them two having sex.) Avid also declares his passionate love for a celebrity when he meets them he also says what he wants to do with them. Apart from the masks he has a sketch called bedtime with the bear, which is very funny as he has a quick interview with a celeb. He also goes to film premieres or promotional record signings and gives weird presents to celebs. On yesterdays show he went to a one day music festival, where one of the female members of a band angrily told him to stop waiting outside her house, Avid replied "But I want to make love to you" the one of the male members repeatedly shouted "**** Off" Avid was kicked out. Avid is Romanian (Transylvania) and wears a neck brace and whenever someone says "how did you get that brace?" he makes up a story of how a celebrity attacked him. Once one of the big brother housemates went to the diary room and started impersonating Avid saying, "I want to see you ****" and "Is that possible, No?" the next day big brother gave him a warning for sexually harrasing big brother.

Bo' Selecta is well funny. I watch it every Friday aswell. Avid is a crackpot, but still has me in stiches. I'm still not sure what exactly Bo Selecta means though, but when I do know is that when me boyfriend is up for it he texts me with the words Blow Selcta. Lol. Sorry, you didn't want to know that, did you?
