not necessarily.
If the RX is filled by your PCP, then no.
If it was written by, lets say , an ER doc.. yes.

walgreens dot com
create an account
enter in the RX number from your inhaler and submit request for refill
walgreens fax's your info to your docs office with RX on it and your info, your doc signs and returns it, then voila
you have a refill with no doc appt,
Doc an always say NO, and might if he thinks he wants to see you and hear about why you are using your inhaler. But usualy, albuterol is given out easily because noone , no doctor nurse or what have you, wants to be responsible for you not having it.

Much sympathy to all of you sick folk. We had the gunk pretty early in the season; really sucks to be sick AND a caretaker of a sickie (or two). And hate having that kind of illness that just drags on forever, kid or no.
DrewDad, I know what you mean about the whole thing about yay they're better so they can go out and get sick again. Sozlet's been exposed to at least one patently sick kid (coughing, bags under eyes, very snotty nose), just keeping fingers crossed. Won't reprise my "keep 'em home if they're sick, dammit!" rant.
Feel better, everyone...

I'm having my two dogs dig a hole in the back yard in which to hide from the flu and colds. Should only take two years for them to dig it large enough to hide me 'cause they're dinky.

in some perverse way i'm intriguied about the possibility of a flu pandemic, as i stated earlier i really don't get sick, i have some seasonal alergies but that's about it, i'd be curious to see how i'd fare against something like the bird flu

For myself, I've got a compromised immune system due to cancer treatment 10 years ago. It's come back some, but not to the levels pre-treatment.
BUT, for some reason, I have not been sick much in the past few years. I did get it fairly mildly last month. It only lasted 2 days. For that matter, Vivienne had it worse than me.
I attribute my good fortune to getting my annual flu shot (mandatory for me) and Echineacea when I'm starting to feel a little under the weather.

heheh, I did I a double take when I read the title of this thread.
I'm do sthick also translates as I did/want to do (as in: smoke) a joint. (At least it did in my college days in India.)
Sorry you all have been sick - it's not half as much fun as ^^. Hope everyone feels better.
