Come on, everybody! It's time to make our New Year's Resolutions! This is a big part of the fun of New Year's! Even if you don't keep them!
I have several resolutions, but one of the most important ones is...... I'm going to quit smoking! (Sound of trumpets!!)
I've already started! I got some Nicorette gum, the mint flavored kind (someone told me to the mint flavored kind -- coz' if you get the regular kind....blech!!)
So here I go!!!
Chomp, chomp, chomp, chomp......Hey, this stuff's pretty good!
Chomp, chomp, chomp, chomp chomp chomp chomp chompchomp chomp....chomp..chomp chomp........gulp.............
Uh oh.
Excuse me. I think I have to go induce vomiting now.
But while I'm doing that, what are your New Year's Resolutions?
less hair loss, more sex.
my resolution is to not make one.

So why do you think people try to make New Year's resolutions? I mean, why then? Could make them any time of the year.
And, what are the chances of folks sticking to them, let's say past the first couple of weeks? When you do, you feel like it's a big let-down, and you feel hopeless.
There's got to be a better way.....
Oh, I don't know, Reyn...chomp..chomp..chomp...I like that "clean slate" feeling of New Year's Eve.
No matter what's happened in the past....there's always hope in the future.

i made a resolution a few years back, to never make another resolution again
only one i've ever stuck with
I have never been a big new years resolution maker / fan either......
except the next morning. I always vow not to drink that much again.
