Nah. Been sick, and was still exhausted and not well enough to go. Grrrrr.....


I was really ill for a looooong time a few years back, and my immunity never seems to have recovered really, so when I get this intense fatigue thing, I take it seriously.

Been better today, though, and have been on hols, luckily....and I have been able to get out and about to dinners and films and stuff the last week or so. Not well enough to drive so many hours and all that ...still needing to sleep a lot.


But back to Little k!!!!!!

Dlowan - take care of yourself!

During my day off, I saw off my french housemate (she was just here for a semester) and then bought myself some pants for my birthday.

My family and I had dinner at one of my favorite restaurants (Amelia's Tratoria), we got the cute waiter who turns out to be a teacher by day. We witnessed a marriage proposal in action. I was given a digital camera and good hiking boots as well as some truffle chocolates. We had the chef (well, my dad asked him to) open the battery charger package with a knife and used their outlet to charge the batteries so I could try out the camera.

We ate amazing nosh and then my dad tipped 15%. Oy. So, my b-in-l left more cash. Then I forced my parents and my brother to play scrabble with me.



Slappy, my family and friends are usually careful about not giving me one present. I do have to wait all year for my yearly present quota, instead of having things spread out. But, then again, I get things like digital cameras and mountain bikes as joint presies when I ask for them because ithey work as combo present swith 2-3 family members in on the gift.
