Songs you forgot you loved, but should download right now!

I was just making one of my inane, boorish, idiotic, totally predictable and stupid come-ons to Chai Tea, and I typed the words "take a walk on the wild side"...Remember that song? Lou Reed? Damn, I forgot I loved that song! And I don't have it! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to illegally download it. Yeah, I dowload songs illegally off the internet. I'm controversial.

Here's a list of songs that you forgot you loved, and should go steal off the internet immediately. Add to it if you dare.

1. April Wine--Just Between You and Me
2. Lou Reed--Take a Walk on The Wild Side
3. Cat Stevens--Year of the Cat
4. Shooting Star--Last Chance
5. Stevie Wonder--Livin' for The City

And what else? Hmmm...

I don't know that one. Is it possible for me to love a song I don't know? Ooh, that's deep. Or I'm sleep deprived.

How about the Queen song, "You're My Best Friend"? That is one of those songs that you hear every decade or so, and it instantly makes you feel all fuzzy inside.

OOH! I've just remembered one by Morphine, but I can't think of the title.

.....chorus goes something like "top floor, second buzzer" (ish)....now, if you want cool with a capital C, try that one on your download list, Mr K.

Apart from that...here are a few better known suggestions.

Stones - Angie.
- Wild Horses (acoustic)

Hazel O'Connor - Will you.

Joe Jackson - Different for girls.

Pluto Shervington - Ram Goat Liver.

Robert Plant - 29 Palms.

Steve Harley - Come up and see me(make me smile)

Travelling Wilburys - Tweeter and the Monkeyman.

Are you talking about that song that went:

"Open the door, get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur"? I think that band was called Was (Was Not)

Oh LordE - I love that Joe Jackson song!

Morphine! I'm a big Morphine fan. Seriously, the band, not the drug. I have the album with "Like Swimming" on it. What's that song they had...****, now it's going to drive me up a dogmadded wall...

Yeah! I remember that song now! How annoying it was! Hated it!

****, that one's right up there with that "You can dance if you want to, you can leave your friends behind...cause your friends don't dance..." Men Without Hats? Was that the name of that band? God, I think the name of the band was bad enough that it actually affected how I thought of their music! The song would have been okay if it wouldn't have been done by a band called Men Without Hats. Has there ever been a worse band name? Seriously! Has there?
