That is so awesome! I absolutely love it! I can't imagine living on that street and all that going on. I think it is fantastic. Thanx so much for posting this.

That's one hell of a light show.
It must've taken weeks to do that. Some guy must have alot of time on his hands.

Is Drewdad the first person in A2K history to stretch the main forum page?

What is the music? My brother saw it but couldn't get the audio, and I wanted to tell him what piece of music was in the background...

That is impressive. Beats the string of lights I put up every year. That would cost some money to setup though. You'd need to buy some technology to control the sequence of the lights. I wonder what they were using. Maybe X-10 controls and a home computer?

Sounds like Manheim Steamroller, But I'm not certain.
Clearly I'm the only one who finds such displays crass and vulgar.

Jesus. It looks more like war than Christmas. Or like a prison camp or something, with that 'star" throwing down that searchlight. I hope he has no neighbours...

Personally, I like the way the peace symbol is used in the second video.
I didn't catch it, but apparently the upper windows spell out "happy holidays," so I did get the thread title wrong.

OMG - I got suckered into that video LAST week too!
Was that you DrewDad, are you trying to destory me bit by bit?
I lasted 17 seconds for the first one, this time about 5.
Seriously DD, hey you ever seen that house on Robert E. Lee? Now THAT's a great x-mas display. It's one one those houses on the side of the hill, right on the curve that takes you up the steepest part.
It's really beautiful.
Check it out closer to xmas.....you too she-wolf.

Personally I think the outdoor displays are a form of American Folk Art. Sure, sometimes The Folk are crass and vulgar--but we're all surviving together on a small planet.
