If I were handy, creative and dedicated, i would make all of my gifts too.
I believe there is more SAID with gving a home / hand made gift strictly tailored to the person getting the gift , then a store bought packaged one.

My last girlfriend's birthday was not even 2 weeks before Xmas. That sucked.
Luckily this is the first year in a while I've been debt-free on my credit cards, and I won't have to charge anything. Sucked before, knowing I was just tacking on more debt that took me a while to pay off. Plus I don't have a ton of people to buy for: 7 or 8.

Christmases were so hard when my son was that age. It was all I could do to handle the normal routine. I hope you have more energy than I did.
she has no real concept of gift giving and christmas yet.

I have even seen things that were on sale BEFORE black friday..

I am hitting Target today because I need to take back some decos I got last night. WAY to many. I thought I was out of garland but apparently, we have about 10 strands packed away so......off to Target I go to return some. And I got those cool spiral tree things for the yard and guess who doesn't have a way to plug them in? Stupid.......
I didn't see any sales that were good but maybe they start today?
