BLC! That is a definite possibility.
BLC - now that's hot and exotic.
That counts for everything, Phoenix.
<pats Phoenix on head>
Wow! Gus! We may make a gourmet out of you yet!
He says he wants hot and exotic, but he doesn't have the ingredients. Let him eat BLC.
OK Tree Hugging, Dolphin Kissing, Environmentalist here...don't buy that stuff. Pollock is caught using "vaccum ships". These boats are huge trollers that literally vaccum up everything in their path. Where they go the ocean is emptied. They suck up schools of pollack, a major food source for many sea creatures, especially mammals such as seals, walrus and whales. These ships are so efficient that they have actually created "starvation zones" in parts of the oceans. Companies like McDonalds and Gordon's have sponsored and supported these ships for years (they are mostly owned by the Japanese), but about 15 years ago the market for faux crab came about and now these ships are big money makers for anyone with the bucks to buy one. Kiss a dolphin and boycott anything made with pollock (getting off my soap box now).
Good to know, Greenie, not that I buy the stuff....
You've sold me, Green Witch. I shall refrain from buying such things in the future.
Your diatribe reminded me of that scene from The Yellow Submarine. Ever see the movie?
The one scene there is this vacuum creature walking around on the ocean floor. He looks like a Bigfoot kind of creature except he has a long vaccum snout. He sucks up passing fish. Pretty soon all the fish are gone and he starts sucking up the plants, seashells, all the items remaining on the ocean floor. Along comes the yellow submarine and he sucks that up. Pretty soon nothing is left so he hooks his snout on the scenery and sucks everything off the screen. He is standing alone with just a white background. He looks around and spots his tail. He attaches his snout to the tail and...poof.... he disappears into a little tiny black dot which turns into a spiraling yellow submarine. The boys are back!
It was a very exciting scene.
Loved the TYS- and yes, that is a very good image of what those behemoths do.
