...I presently use Gmail (very pleased) and MyWay (also good), but Yahoo and Hotmail are not fully functional; too bad, I wanted to use Yahoo. Is there another dependable freebie I can try? I'll use it as the address I post when sending newspaper articles...non-essential stuff.
I still don't know why Yahoo is supposedly not "fully functional". It works perfectly fine for me, I have no issues with it beyond the usual minor slowdowns that everyone has with every website.
Oh, and if you like those two services, why not just get a second email address with either or both of them? mapleleaf1, mapleleaf2, etc.
Hmmmm....the simple answer may be the best, a second address at the same site.
Concerning Yahoo, My Yahoo works, but the Email home page is slow to show-up. Then when I click any of the folders (inbox, etc), they time-out, No Information, etc.
I tinker a lot with my computers (Windows XP/LinSpireOS); perhaps I punched some wrong buttons. Anyway, both of my systems have the same problems with Yahoo/Hotmail.
MyWay.com accepted another address. In fact, it has the fastest screen showing.
These free sites really don't care how many addresses you sign up for. I think I have, let's see, three (four?) on hotmail and another three or four on yahoo. I don't think any other free site would work any differently; they all know that their addresses are used for things like spam-catching.
