Basically, you put your space-time coordinates _plus 20 minutes_ in a time capsule, actually as many as possible, and then in the future when time travel is possible, somone will eventually dig up a time capsule with your current coordinates plus 20 minutes. Then one day after that someone might be persuaded to meet you. All you have to do is wait 20 minutes.

I've tried this on a few sites and it hasn't worked yet. BUT each site I've posted it on has been erased at least once. So I'll try it here.

Quote:
TIME TRAVELERS
Meet the guy in a black t-shirt with big red letters on it. Currently wish to meet you at 9:20pm (It's 9:00pm now). I'll wait in Woodridge Court in the 95667 zip code, USA.

As you can see, 20 minutes is plenty of time for me to get ready but not enough time for any imposter to show up, unless one of my neighboors is on this site right now.

how do you know this hasn't happened, maybe somebody from the future wouldn't identify themselves as such, maybe they just observed you from a distance

and what would you do if somebody did come by, capture them, they would noy likely sticka round to and to be interogated, so you go to the local paper, say you've just met a man from the future, and no he's not here now and the next thing you know you're out on the street, or locked up

Indeed, I think it has happened but I have told no one until now.

Maybe _you're_ from another universe?!?! A little late, buddy. You were supposed to meet me at 9:20!
