His last post sounded as though he was struggling--stiffed lipped--to recovery.

Our Lord E--gallant in undignified circumstances.

Second the motion on the cartoon, Osso.

The canals of Venice are filled with scallop shells each one with a Venus, each Venus with a pole, each scallop shell with a destination, and romance quivers over the murky waters.

No! Really?! I'll have to stop by the bookstore tomorrow and see if they have that issue. This week, you say? Is it a cover illustration or inside?

GOOD GRIEF! WOT WOT?

What a wonderful lot you are!!....apart from the posters that have made light of my male enhanced illness, of course.

It wasn't the dreaded Crohn's wot done me in on this occasion, it was a bout of the yellow Cockneyite lurgy, unique to this part o' the world and only transmittable to suvverners oo reside in an arand London.

It begins with a corker of an 'eadache, an' quickly takes over the ol' grey matter, causing all sorts of 'ow's yer father in the pronuncification department, like.

Before you know it, the knees are wobblin', yer balance as gone all doolally, an' you can't seem to write proper English with the 'arf a parnd o' sausages that were once yer fingers. Rhymin' slang all over the bleedin' place.

The most dangerous part though, is a strong desire to dress up in yer best whistle, jump in the ol' jam jar and drive down to Lambeth, in order to partake in some silly walking.

After a couple 'o renditions of Knees up Muvver Brown, it's a quick nip into the nearest rub-a-dub, drink a couple of pints of Bishops Finger, before Okey Cokeying off down to Billingsgate Market in search of some jellied eels.

This is rounded off by driving back 'ome at high speed, in order to get back into bed before the trouble an' strife returns home from work to look after me good an' proper.

Apparently, it lasts for about free weeks, so you will probberly find my posts quite 'ard to understand.

You ain't alone in this, I might add, as I 'aven't got a bloody clue wot I'm goin' on about neither.

I 'ave obviously passed it on to the aforementioned trouble, as she has gorn off to work doin' a worse Cockney impersonation than Dick Van Dyke in bleedin' Mary Poppins.

Thanks for all your concern an' good wishes, it 'as warmed me cockles an' no mistake.

I am now goin' to take the dog for a ball o' chalk.

That's if I can find me Daisy roots o' course, as it's a bit muddy out there.

Ta ra fer now..........
