An Austrian hotelier has come under fire for his plan to ban children under 12 from his inn starting next spring because they disturb his adult guests, although dogs are welcome guests.

Can we have grocery stores here that do the same please? Or maybe just ban idiot parents who let their brats run up and down the aisles touching everything is sight. Mad

I guess it probably wouldn't be "politically correct" to just ban "idiots" from all public places, and no, I'm not talking about mentally-challenged individuals.

Cats are welcome at Best Westerns here.

They usually have areas of the hotels designated as pet-friendly - for dogs, that means at the bottom, outside edges, away from stairwells - so you can take them outside easily.

Love Best Westerns - and Red Roof Inns <which dog people call Red Woof Inns>.

There are websites for finding pet-friendly hotels/motels in North America - probably other areas of the world as well.

There are some cool facilities for pets around - buddies, spas, treats.
