Hello,
Please can anybody help me. I import from China and sell online Pure Silk bedding in the UK. But when I started to place bigger orders all my problems began! I was told the silk bedding is under Quota Control.......or not?
I can't find a straight answer - does importer of pure silk bedding to the UK need import License? Is the Silk bedding items under Quota Control?
If somebody can help me with this matter I will be very grateful!

If you need ship out from china, the cargo need via another third country and buy co.

Hi Maria,
The answer above sounds about right. Have to be careful though. As the quotas are relatively new, you will have to be a bit careful. I would be interested in hearing about Danny's suggestion for doing this via a third party country as I know of others who would want to do similar.
