Good biographies ?

I read alot of biographies, some bad, some good, yesterday i finished a book about Marx, and it was probably the best biography i have read.
The question is, can any of you recommend any really good, and inspirational biographies ?

Dont know about inspirational but the 2 I really enjoyed were Michael Caines-Whats it all about and Nick Drake by Patrick Humphries(I think)
