Luck of the Draw-that's the Bonnie Raitt album that sold me. Every cut was masterful. The slide guitar on "One Part Be My Lover" was heartwrenchingly beautiful.
Tracy Chapman is another favorite. Loved her "New Beginning" cd.
Rickie Lee Jones-Flying Cowboys

Debbie Harry (Blondie)--Rapture
Polly Styrene (X-Ray Spex)--Genetic Engineering
Exene (X)--Some Other Time
Karen O. (Yeah Yeah Yeahs)--Maps

I saw Chan Marshall (Cat Power) in concert. One of the weirdest nights of my life.

Don't know the names of the ladies of "Blonde Redhead" but they're damn good, too.

Siouxsie Sue of Banshees fame. I don't reckon she gets enough credit.

Kate Bush- the whole With This Kiss I Pass The Key album is great.

And lilK, Susan Tedeschi gets played on KKJZ here quite often on the weekend blues show.

As for favorite female vocalists, there are too many to list, but as of this minute, Diana Krall in on my mind.

How are you Letty, it's been a while since we "spoke". There are too many female singers to list, that's why I cut it short.
Site is very slow to load to-night, I stopped by a few minutes ago and was so slow I moved on. Very Happy
