These are not fiction books, but nevertheless are interesting, considering what is going on in America. If you're interested, the books I'd recommend are by Hertsgaard's 'The Eagle's Shadow" and Sellin's "Spiritual Gyre". Both good reads. Kind of a break from the fantasy world of books such as Life of Pi!
