The Dickens Character Quizz

There are so many colorful characters in the Dickens novels, I thought it would be fun to run a game in which one names one and players guess the book in which they appeared. Answer correctly, and ask the next one, and so on.

First character: Mrs Peerybingle.

side note: I find Mrs Peerybingle and I find Mrs Perrybingle in doing a Google search. I will defer to Lord Ellpus in the matter, me being less than expert in the subject.

I know Wheathampstead is a place, but I can't recall the name and I think I have read all of Dickens.

If you want to skip her for the moment -
I present Mr. and Mrs. Boffin for your consideration.

I think your assessment is correct and we can go on with Mr and Mrs Boffin as the next challenge.

Edgar deserves the prize. Mrs Wheathampstead was a figment of my imagination rather than Dickens after a bottle of sauvignon.

Meant to come back and explain...but forgot !

Sorry
