The other day, I am not certain whether it was because of a job interview that didn't work out or a date that ended on a tearful note, I was reminded of a song that I have not heard in more than a quarter of a century ... at least!!! LOL!!!!
The song is either "Screaming" or "Screamin'" or "Screaming in my car" by Dorie Previn, the woman Andre left to marry Mia Farrow.
Have been to google and ask jeeves and ascap.org and bmi.com but can not find the song. The only trace of Ms. Previn (who may not even be alive) is a mention or two of her works in the repertoire of current performers but can not find the song.
Would love the lyrics and the music (I can read music but that doesn't mean I can play!). Help!
macsim,
How can I thank you enough!! I have been trying to find this for about two weeks now!! This is wonderful.
I would never have found the title, "20 mile zone" without you!!
You're quite welcome. I just went to Google and entered Previn and screaming...
I tried that and got nothing!! Oh, well, maybe it's because you have Scully on your side!
Goodness - Dory Previn! Whoodathunk!
Dorie Previn vs. Mia Farrow Karma
Glad you found the lyrics. It was a terrific album too. Isn't is ironic that Mia Farrow, who was the trusted waif that pulled Dorie's husband out from under her, should have to deal with the even more incredible infidelity of her adopted daughter marrying her husband, Woody Allen?
Instant karma gonna getcha!
