I'm all for retesting of older drivers. As a matter of fact, I would not object to taking a driver's test every so many years. Perhaps 10 years or so would be realistic.

Where do you stand on this issue?

VICTORIA(CKNWAM980) - Victoria Police are investigating a strange pursuit which began in downtown Victoria and ended with the suspect car driving over a spike belt on the Malahat.

The suspect driver: a 71-year-old woman.

Police received a call from a witness to a hit-and-run incident on Douglas Street at 5:45 PM Saturday. The caller was following the suspect car on Douglas Street, which turns into the Island Highway just outside the city limits.

Police joined the pursuit.....

At the rate I'm going, I will be totally wore out by age 70. (Which is what de gubmint is figuring, since that is the age at which I can get full SS moneys).
