Is "Surronded by idiots" useless?

I've read half of the book and it doesn't teach you how to deal with idiots; it just tells you that people are different. Moreover, it's full of yapping about the author's bosses and friends.

I just want to know how to deal with everyday idiots. Is that a hard-to-answere question?
