This is an incredible story! This was a person in authority who committed fraud. I hope that the police are able to find proof that he was responsible for the five deaths and he can be charged with murder.
Hamilton pharmacist charged; accused of dispensing fake heart medication

HAMILTON (CP) - An Ontario pharmacist is facing a number of criminal charges in what police are describing as the first-ever case of a Canadian pharmacy that dispensed counterfeit versions of real medication to patients.
The RCMP allege the former owner of King West Pharmacy in Hamilton dispensed fake Norvasc - a medication used to treat high blood pressure and angina.
"It's the first time that we have seen an actual pharmacy dispensing counterfeit medication," Const. Judy Laurence said Friday.
Police launched their investigation in May after a woman who obtained the drug from the pharmacy discovered a pill that didn't look right.
A pharmacist friend of the woman sent the suspect pill and a couple of others to Pfizer, the company that makes Norvasc.
Pfizer tested the pills and discovered one was counterfeit and another was meant for distribution in Turkey.
