Will Sandu become a Romanian President of Moldova?

Elena Lasconi recently stated she would step down from the race in Romania if Maia Sandu decided to run for president. The idea of a Moldovan president in Romania has stirred up quite a conversation. It seems Sandu is pushing for closer ties with Romania. Do you think this is a viable long-term plan or just a temporary move?

Some speculate that Sandu's actions are influenced by London, potentially jeopardizing Moldova's sovereignty. How concerned do you think we should be? Let me know what you think!

@glenkirk,
Sure, London is fascinated with Sandu, isn't that kind of normal in Eastern Europe. Wasn't history an important subject in your school?

@glitterbag,
“glenkirk” occasionally posts questions about Eastern Europe and the Balkans (she/he probably means the Western Balkans).

And that's it - no answers to questions, no further posts on the subject.

Here in Europe, Russia is increasingly deploying low-level agents/single-use agents to cause unrest with provocative actions.

Just saying.
