Does Sartre anywhere offer an argument against God's existence? In existentialism is a humanism he merely assumes that God does not exist, as if everyone in his audience is already an atheist.

Sartre's existentialism emphasizes that human individuals are not born with a predetermined purpose but must create their own meaning in life. In other words, we have the freedom and the power to shape our own identities and destinies, and we are held accountable for the life we chose.
