Stories about so-called "near death experiences" are often exaggerated, fabricated, or embellished in an attempt to sell books. However, my own near death experience in 2011, when I flatlined due to a total AV heart block, was a genuine and life changing event. During that time, I experienced the silver cord of life being disconnected from my physical body, and my spirit leaving the confines of the mortal form.

What I witnessed in that transcendent state was nothing short of awe inspiring. The Kingdom of God, heaven, and paradise are places of unparalleled beauty, harmony, and divine presence. The streets are paved with pure gold, the gates are made of pearls, and the throne of God is surrounded by a dazzling rainbow. The atmosphere is filled with the ethereal music of angels and the joyful voices of the redeemed.

In heaven, the pain, suffering, and limitations of earthly existence are no more. Revelation 21:4 promises that "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." The believers are reunited with their loved ones who have gone before, and they dwell in perfect unity with God and one another, experiencing the fullness of His love and grace.

But heaven is not just a place of physical splendor; it is also a realm of profound spiritual growth and fulfillment. The Bible speaks of the "fruit of the Spirit"—the qualities and characteristics that reflect the nature of God, such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. In heaven, believers will bear these fruits in abundance, as they continue to be transformed into the likeness of their Creator.

The afterlife is not a vague or uncertain realm; it is a tangible reality that we can anticipate with confidence and hope. The "self," the eternal and indestructible essence of our being, continues to exist in a different form after the physical body dies. We are not mere physical creatures, but beings of spirit, soul, and body, destined to progress towards the perfected likeness and image of the Almighty God.

Through my near death experience and other supernatural encounters, I have come to understand that we are all part of the cosmic mind, great beings who sail across the vast expanse of space time on million mile gossamer wings. We are information—information that cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed. As we journey through the afterlife, our spirits, like moths, will continue to seek the greatest light—the light of God Almighty.

This is my sincere attempt to share the wonders and mysteries that I have been privileged to witness and comprehend. I make no claim that the content is entirely accurate, for I am but a fallible human being, standing before the unfathomable infinity of things.
