Is a comma missing affair Australia? ?

At work, Ms Neha Dharma is like any of her other colleagues. The 24-year-old Singaporean human resource consultant based in Sydney, Australia does not have all the answers, sometimes makes mistakes and even gets chided by her boss.

Is a comma missing after “Australia"?

No. A comma there would make no sense at all.

Contrariwise, I think a comma IS needed after Australia.

Australia is given as context for Sydney and is in a kind of bracket like pair of commas

If it's the queens' English, the commas would be little hearts.
