black and white are my favourite...I'm not sure I can say colours now after the above few discussions, so I'll just say appearance. I try to wear black and white outfits every time. Altho sometimes the occasional pink and yellow get thrown in too.

But I must say, men who wear black look very very nice.

In my 20's I was all about electric cold colors

now, definately warm soothing colors, but with a surprise somewhere.

Like a beautiful saddle color, or cappachino, with a sudden jolt of candy apple red, or an intense blue or royal blue/purple

just like life.....

All shades of grey and deeper levels of red such as burgundy and beet. Oh heck I like most of the reds although flamingo pink does not work well for me.

A beautiful blend is the reds with the greys...oh it is absolutely beyond divine.

purple blues

but loads of other colours nearly as much - sea colours - aquamarine and viridian and all those lovely glowing colours too.

black is a mixture of all the pigments

white is a mixture of all the colours in pure light

Somehow I figure if I mixed all the pigments I'd get a brown.

Gamblin Oils puts out a color they call Torrit grey, which varies per batch as it is a bunch of odds and ends paint leftover from their processing - but I don't know if it is from all colors.

as usual with colour mixing of paints it's theory rather than practice!

turquoise

and

sometimes lavender

and

sometimes

that cool almost see-through green that's some kind of stone.

I like bright sorta translucent colours as colours.

I like black to wear.
