Mmmm, me too, Osso. I do come back to violet over and over again. But combine storm blue with lavender - yum! Or pea green and butter yellow.... or aubergine and lavender..... or salmon and peach, or turqouise and lichen green............

I'm sorry, Reyn, I just had this feeling that you didn't particularly like me, so I may have been a little too harsh with my response to your post. Please accept my apology.

Really? Well, sorry if I gave any negative vibes out. I try not to offend anyone if possible.

I've found out one has to be very careful what one puts in print. It's hard to take back later on.

Well, apologies certainly accepted.

I'm sorry I didn't know this was to be a serious thread. In that case I must change my answer from safety orange to moss green.

I actually thought safety orange was a much more serious color. What's more serious than safety, after all?

I thought white is all colors - re the light spectrum, even though 'black is all colors' seems to make more sense. But... heh, I forget. So I didn't post that.. and let Kicky walk into it.

On my favorite color,
it depends.

Actually, both white and black are produced by all colours. When the 3 primary colours are present at 100% you get white. This is an additive colour system. When the same thing happens when the colour does not emit any light of it's own but reflects light from it's surroundings, you get black. This is a subtractive colour system.

AaaHAAA!

Actually, I'm not sure whether that actually means I'm correct, but I will not hesitate to claim victory in any situation.

Ah! One part Reflex Blue to 15 parts Transparent White, hmm? That's a fairly tame color. I would have thought you'd choose something more vibrant to match your personality, LionTamerX. It is rather soothing, though.

My favorite color changes several times a day. Perennial favorites are all variations on a red/green combination, though. Sometimes copper/peacock, sometimes crimson/leaf green, but always a variation on that theme.

Actually, sometimes, when I'm feeling nostalgic, I like PMS 485. That's the color of the lobster in the Red Lobster logo, which you would know if you were cool enough to have worked for them in Orlando several years ago.

But of course, you aren't that cool, and I am.

I do like that color, though, Kicky. Warm reds have always appealed to me.

Do you tend toward warm or cool colors? (Most people have a preference.) I always go for the warmer, richer hues.
