In terms of accuracy, both brands deliver exceptionally precise timepieces, which have a chronometer title. But in terms of accuracy, Omega wins over Rolex as they make both mechanical and quartz watches, which quartz tends to be more accurate than other watch movements.
Is the second "which" correctly used?
Thanks.
@tanguatlay,
I wouldn't use it. Awkward. You could handle this a couple of ways:
"... quartz watches. Quartz tends to be..." or
"...quartz watches, quartz tending to be more..."
@tanguatlay,
And here's another option:
"But in terms of accuracy, Omega wins over Rolex as, while they make both mechanical and quartz watches, quartz tends to be more accurate than other watch movements."
@tanguatlay,
I would say
- very poorly written
- technically correct to use which instead of "that" in that instance
- the whole statement is BS. You would never include Omega's lower end quartz watches in a comparison of timepiece quality.
