Around here (NW New Mexico) there are drive up coffee sellers called Durango Joe's. Okay, but why are people driving around with Durango Joe's bumper stickers? Does it make people somehow distinguished?

@roger,
I thought it denoted a degree from Oxford.

@hightor,
I've been to Durango three times (first with dyslexia, in a local RV-park, later alone and the last time with the missus [which was in 2011 on our anniversary]).

Obviously, I wasn't good enough for that degree. Or, I didn't give enough tip for the coffee.

I just noticed when looking through my photos, that this was exactly on the very same day (a Sunday, too) 18 years ago.
We stopped at that cafe, because dys wanted me to taste some good American coffee.

@Walter Hinteler,
Was it good enough that you got a bumper sticker?

For all I know, Durango could refer to a state in Mexico. Sometimes, it's confusing.

@roger,
Or a city in Colorado. Or a Dodge truck.

@roger,
Durango Joe's bumper stickers are popular because they represent support for a local coffee chain known for its strong community values and excellent service. Displaying the sticker shows loyalty to a brand that emphasizes caring for people and giving back to the community.

@Walter Hinteler,
Makes sense. Durango CO is a heck of a lot closer than Durango state in Mexico
