We were paying two bills by check. Recently I mailed both checks inside the post office. One made it on time. The other got lost. We started paying on line after that.

@edgarblythe,
Not all is bad: I lost my ATM and credit card on the beach and both cards were taken to my BofA branch. Pretty decent! After that I put my cards on Apple wallet on my phone and pay through there, no physical card needed.

In the old days, my card was compromised a few times at gas stations I didn't use regularily , it was always somewhere on the road. I guess the attendant can look up the card and zip code in their system. Now I have an e-car and don't need a gas station anymore.

You are the first ecar owner I know personally. Any complaints? At least where you live the cold shouldn't be a problem.

@edgarblythe,
No complaints, Edgar, but I probably wouldn't drive an e-car in wintery conditions. This is my second e-car and the previous one I had for 3 years and never any service cost, gas, or anything else. Even my car insurance has a special price just for Tesla. I pay $93/month.

@CalamityJane,
Sounds pretty good. I'm on probably my last car ever. Getting too old to do my own driving. I did do some driving today. My grandfather refused to give up driving until he had two major accidents and they took away his pick up. I will never be like that.

@edgarblythe,
Sometimes people have no choice if there aren't any public transportations around. Lots of older folks are getting e-bikes with wide tires and it brings them from point A to B.

@CalamityJane,
Yeah, I'd get run over around here. There are too many fast cars, lanes are narrow, no bike lanes or sidewalks. I've seen old men lose their cars and they didn't last long after that. My car is not who I am, so it won't disturb me that much. I know how to Uber.
