Friends,
Anyone know how to transfer items from singapore to sydney?.
I inquired with some international movers, they all ask minimum 2000s$ but the items i have is not worth for that much and very little also. I have the followings only:
1) TV, 2) Hi-Fi system, 3) some kitchen items, 4) my kids toys/small cycle & 5) a PC.
I can carry some with me on flight itself.
I checked with local post office, they charge 85$ for shipping to sydney but weight must be less then 20KG only. My TV is bit overweight (24kg). They adviced me to check with other freight companies, but not easy on my google search.
Any advice here please?.
Thank you,
Mark
Have you tried courier services like UPS, FedEx or DHL?
not yet - Having impression that they are for quicker delivery, but i will call them today. Thanks.
I called cargo companies (Air/sea freight forwarders). They are pretty reasonable - air frieght at 4s$/kg + 65$ admin fee, Sea - 25us$/cbm + 250 admin fee.
Now i am more clear. Thanks
btw, called UPS/DHL/FedEX, they are very expensive. Even for a 23kg TV, they asked about 500s$ !.
