I believe its the season in which manly men like gunga go forth into the fields and tree rows of the Commonwealth of Pa and blast away at the ever deadly mourning dove. Killing 10 "brace " of doves, about 20 , yields enough meat to feed a single gunga, as long as there are plenty of mashed taters
