It's all too horrifying to bear. Rescue efforts always gain a lot of attention and everybody pulls for the victims of coal mine disasters or children falling in wells. It's gratifying when the rescue attempt is successful, but when it fails, it's too horrifying to behold.

Some people suffer with the victims and other people disassociate completely with the stages of grief.

The imploding of the Titan vessel happened pretty instantaneously. I imagine it would be something like a super jumbo jet doing a belly flop on your house crushing you instantly.

Oh, I'm sure they'll be sued up the ying-yang by the families of those on board once they prove OceanGate was negligent.

Without the 'evidence' there will not be much of a trial. Let the lawyers pay for the recovery. Why risk anyone else's lives? I don't want the Navy doing it.
