For the example you gave, evaluate each of the key components of the front suspension system, including the shock absorbers, springs, ball joints, tie rod ends, and control arms.

Define the specific measurements and tolerances for each component. For example, you might establish that the shock absorbers should provide a certain level of resistance when compressed, and that the tie rod ends should not have any play.

It's not really intangible.
