Why is she behaving this way?

This girl I like I have been putting lots of effort in and got fed up with getting no where so i started distancing myself. When i see her she gets passive aggressive bangs around and slams around.
When i ask a basic question she would not answer. (Example I would ask how was your evening did you get up to much ?) she would respond with 1 word answers. I got frustrated and said she is hard work she replied everyone says that she said she is not avoiding me. I feel bad for moaning at her.
