Help me settle an argument here. Do you drink water?

Nothing more refreshing then a clean, cold glass of water. NYC has one of the best and cleanest municipal sources of water. Those flavored waters also don't taste exactly as they promised. Or worse, the seltzer waters tend to be on the bitter side.

I'm not alone in this very basic opinion.

I prefer "Adam's Ale" to any flavored beverage; it goes great with food, it's a superior thirst-quencher, and it doesn't contain sugar or artificial flavoring.

I saw on a cooking show that many of the NY pizzarias swear by the tap water there that they use for their dough which takes their pizza to a higher level.

I prefer cold unsweetened black tea with lemon or lime juice.

Elephants only drink water and who wants to look like an Elephant and besides that, fish fornicate in water.

NYC water is known to be very good. Their reservoirs are upstate and in undeveloped areas.

1. Pure ice cold water with nothing added is the only way I will drink water.

2. My favorite type of water purification is (Reverse Osmosis).

3. Pure ice cold Reverse Osmosis water is sooooooo refreshing.

4. The only time I like carbonation is when it's in my Pepsi Cola and other soda soft drinks.

5. The thought of carbonation in my water sounds repulsive. That sounds like drinking a glass of alka seltzer. Not appealing to drink.

6. If someone adds lemon to my water, I will flush that whole glass of lemon water down the toilet where it belongs.

7. The only lemon I ever want to have in my water will be lemon combined with sugar.

8. In other words the only time lemon taste good in my water is when it is lemonade.

Lemonade is a good alternative to everything else but plain water. Got to agree with you.

Besides, we more concerned with what DOW puts in the water.

That's one argument that's also used in why NYC bagels are so distinctive as well.

I don't drink just water itself, generally, but I am with less body mass and mostly where I am not that warm. I have been in hot circumstances where I would try to get water enough, so there are situations water is good to drink. I go get water to bring for using with anything I have, I live where pipes are old and would not trust water from them for anything other than washing anything off. I heat water for tea or coffee, I cook meals with using water from what I get too. Other things I have for eating or drinking contain water anyway, and I don't manage making room for just having water itself, while not feeling any need in my usual circumstances.

Anywhere I've had water in Canada it has been delicious. Nobody I knows buys bottled water - everyone has loads of thermoses, etc., for packing our own water around.

NYC water is rated better than most bottled water in blind taste tests. Locating their resevoirs way up in upstate New York was a good strategy.
